Email and Lifecycle Marketing That Grows LTV

The cheapest sale is the one an existing customer makes. We build email and lifecycle messaging from activation to reactivation, segment your list by behavior and set up triggered flows that fire at the right moment. We measure success by retention, repeat purchases and LTV, not by open rates.

The problem

Your list has plenty of contacts, but your emails barely drive purchases.

What you get

  • A lifecycle map with messaging at every stage
  • List segments based on behavior and value
  • Triggered flows that run on their own
  • Emails that land in the inbox, not in spam
  • Higher retention and more repeat purchases
  • Reporting on revenue and LTV from CRM marketing

Who it’s for

When You Need This Service

You send emails but see no results

Emails go out once a week to everyone, opens keep falling and unsubscribes keep rising. We move you from batch-and-blast to segmented flows.

Users sign up and disappear

Plenty of sign-ups, few active users. Onboarding sequences take people to first value and raise activation.

Customers buy only once

Repeat purchases are rare while acquisition gets more expensive. Lifecycle messaging brings customers back and grows LTV.

In detail

How We Do It

What happens at each stage of the work and why.

CRM as a System, Not a Newsletter

CRM marketing directly affects LTV, retention and revenue. Keeping a customer costs less than winning a new one, so every point of retention noticeably changes your unit economics. We build messaging around user behavior, not around a send calendar.

  • An audit of your current CRM and data
  • The link between retention and CAC through unit economics
  • CRM integration with the product and analytics
  • A data schema and events for triggers

The Lifecycle Map

We map the customer journey from sign-up to loyalty and define what people need at each stage. Every stage has its own goals, messages and metrics.

  • Activation, with onboarding to first value
  • Engagement, with useful content and tips
  • Retention, with repeat purchases and loyalty programs
  • Reactivation, winning back people who stopped buying

Segmentation and Personalization

One email for the whole list always loses to an email for a specific segment. We split the list by behavior and value and personalize the content, offers and send time.

  • RFM analysis by recency, frequency and monetary value
  • Behavioral segments based on actions in the product and on the site
  • Dynamic content in emails
  • Personalized product or feature recommendations

Hypotheses and Testing

We form retention hypotheses with an expected impact, prioritize them with ICE or RICE and test them. We test more than subject lines. Flows, timing, frequency and offers all get tested too.

  • A backlog of retention hypotheses
  • A/B tests of subject lines, content, timing and offers
  • Holdout groups to measure the real impact
  • A six-month roadmap of CRM initiatives

Deliverability

The best email does nothing if it lands in spam. We set up domain authentication, clean the list and monitor sender reputation.

  • SPF, DKIM and DMARC
  • Regular cleanup of inactive and invalid addresses
  • Monitoring of complaints, bounces and domain reputation
  • Warm-up for new domains and IPs

Email & Lifecycle Marketing FAQ

Don’t see your question? Email us at [email protected].

Which platforms do you work with?

Klaviyo, HubSpot, Braze, Customer.io, Mailchimp and others. If you don’t have a platform yet, we’ll help you pick one based on your product, list size and budget.

How often should we send emails?

Triggered emails go out when someone takes an action, so their frequency depends on behavior. Regular campaigns are usually once or twice a week, but frequency is best tested on your own list.

Why do our emails land in spam?

The most common causes are missing domain authentication, an old or purchased list, and high complaint and bounce rates. We set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC, clean the list and monitor sender reputation.

What are triggered emails?

They’re automated emails sent in response to a user’s action or inaction. For example, after sign-up, an abandoned cart or thirty days without logging in. They usually convert far better than batch campaigns.

How do you measure the impact of email marketing?

By revenue, retention and LTV, not just opens and clicks. For an honest read we use holdout groups that receive no emails and compare their behavior with the rest of the list.
